The Wealth Money Can’t Buy Summary – Robin Sharma

The Wealth Money Can't Buy By Robin Sharma

I admire Robin Sharma and that’s why I’m saying this “The Wealth Money Can’t Buy is not for everyone but it is for those who have never read a self-help book in their life. It is a repetition of almost all the self-help books but with 394 pages”

There you go.

Now, let’s take a look at some of the key lessons from the book. I’m sure you already know what I’m about to talk about, so keep in mind, that this is for only new readers.

Favorite Quote From the Book “It is not death that one should fear but never having truly lived,” said Marcus Aurelius”

The Wealth Money Can’t Buy Summary

The Wealth Money Can’t Buy has 175 chapters and 394 pages, each chapter talks about how you can improve your life for a better tomorrow. The author also says that money is not as important as your health, and gives you 8 life-changing habits to apply in your life.

The 8 Habits are,

  1. Improve Yourself: Personal growth is the key to everything, so if needed, improve yourself for a better tomorrow.
  2. Good Habits: Whether it’s physical or mental fitness, it will make you a healthy person. So do exercise, read books,  and be happy with who you are.
  3. Time: You don’t have infinite time, so spend it with the ones you love the most, basically, spend as much time as you can with your family.
  4. Craft Your Work: Find something that you’re good at and do that thing over and over and the day will come and you will be king in that area.
  5. Be careful with the Money: Don’t Just use Money For Pleasure, use it for Freedom.

  7. Explore: You don’t have to stay in your room and city forever, explore New wonders whether it’s by Traveling or Reading.
  8. Helping Hand: See Beyond Yourself and help others whenever you can.

Robin Sharma does share his life experiences here and there but mostly the book is filled with How-to’s on self-improvement rather than personal finance.

With that being said, let’s now talk about key takeaways that you should apply in your life, right NOW.

Life’s Last Edit by Rahul Makwana

Think of it as a self-help bible—not just a collection of lessons, but a guide to transforming your life.

Show Up in The Gym

I don’t want to sound like a Guru, so be with me because whatever I’m about to say are the author’s words.

Everyone has 24 hours and I don’t think it’s too hard to find only 30 minutes to do some kind of physical exercise.

So do yourself a favor and get yourself moving otherwise, it will be very hard to move your body when you go above the age of 50.

60-Second Rule For Procrastination

I have learned one thing from all the books I have read

Procrastination happens because your brain thinks the work you want to do is not as important as watching movies or scrolling on your smartphone, the reason is, that working on a project doesn’t release as much dopamine as scrolling Instagram reels”

The simple thing you can do is to just start working on the thing that you want to work on. Just start the work for a few minutes and see the magic happen.

As the author says, Never leave the site of a spectacular idea without doing something to bring it into reality. Keep repeating this mantra, over and over: “I will do it now.”

For example, you don’t have to read a book for hours, read for five minutes, and leave. Do this for days and you will realize the power of your brain.

Only Thing That Matters

No matter, how much money you have or even how healthy you are, these won’t last for a long time, if you don’t stick to your habits.

As the author says “The main point is that the great men and women who have created rich financial fortunes are not those with the highest IQs but the finest habits”

Build habits that align with your goals and improve on them every day.

How To Make Yourself Happy

The most common problem people have is MONEY. So what you can do about it, earn it but how?

Build the skill that you love the most and find a job or even a business in that area.

For starters, you may have to work somewhere where you don’t like working but that’s life, do it for a few years and afterward, do what you love the most.

Life is hard and you have to accept it. Also, keep in mind that life won’t stay hard forever. The day will come and you will have everything you wanted but that will only happen if you don’t quit and complain.

Problems like health are not a big deal. Just exercise, read books, spend time with loved ones, go for a walk, or even meditate.

Lastly, don’t create a problem on your own, and remember, don’t let others create problems in your life.
