Who Moved My Cheese Book Summary
The Who Moved My Cheese is one of those books that once you start reading, you will keep going and going until you finish. The story will touch your heart and will make you think about what is missing in your life and if something is missing then how to fix it.
Who Moved My Cheese Story
The story is about two little people and two mice. The two little people thinks that they’re smarter and better compared to mice and this is lead them to a harder situation.
- Sniff- detects the change early
- Scurry- take action & move with quick short steps
- Hem- afraid of change & resist changing
- Haw- Learns & adapts in time when he sees changing can lead to something better.
Now, I won’t tell the full story because the book only has 91 pages, so if I say anything else then, you won’t enjoy reading it.
Now let me share with you, what I have learned from the book.
- Overanalyzing too much will Lead nowhere.
- Nothing will stay the same forever, it will change and you should accept the change and move on.
- There will be something on the other side, you just have to look for it.
- Never be afraid of failing.
- Don’t blame someone else for your mistakes, learn from them.
- Imagination can make everything different.
Nothing Will Stay The Same Forever
No one will stay young forever, we will grow and die someday and we all need to accept that. So you can’t just complain every day about death, you have to accept death and look at the bright side.
The same can be applied to business, job, study, exercise, book reading, or relationships.
So if your business is not running well then see, what kind of mistakes you’re making or what your competitors are doing.
Once you know the problems, you will find the solution.
Even with relationships, everyone won’t be happy forever in marriage, there will be someday when people will take divorced but that doesn’t mean, you can’t get married again or date someone.
In short, change yourself in a good way.
Never Be Afraid of Failing.
Let’s say, I have an idea about business but I’m worried about whether it will be successful or not, what if I lose all of my money?
So if you think like that then you won’t able to start a business ever. First, you need to start a business to see whether it’s working or not.
Again, you can apply the same thing to exercise. For example, you want to exercise every day but you’re afraid, what if you don’t get healthy, what if you don’t lose weight, etc. The solution is to start exercising…
So if you want to do something in your life then don’t ever be afraid of falling, even if you fail, you will learn a lot from your mistakes and the same can be applied to next time.
Failing can’t be the end of your world, it’s just beginning.
Whenever I take a big step, I think too much. What if the new website doesn’t work, what if the website doesn’t get the view, what if no one reads my articles?
So don’t think too much about what you want to do. If you want to start a business or want to move to another city then just do it.
Don’t think about this and that…

The book will make you love yourself and make you think, nothing is impossible. The Who Moved My Cheese is one of those books which everyone should read to understand, there will be something on the other side, you just have to tell yourself, everything will be fine, I can do it.
“Life moves on and so should we”
“The fear you let build up in your mind is worse than the situation that actually exists”
“If you do not change, you can become extinct!”
In the end, I would say, the book will teach you a lot about your life and it’s a very small book, so make sure you read it at least one time.
